Meet Miss Schneider

My name is Andrea Schneider and I teach at Sycamore Elementary School in Holt, MI. 
This is my 3rd year as a K-2 Special Education Teacher of students with Cognitive Impairments.

Fun Facts about Miss Schneider

* I love sports: playing, watching, and coaching.  I still play volleyball and kickball. I love to watch football, softball, volleyball, and gymnastics.  I have coached cheerleading and volleyball.

  My favorite team is the University of Michigan Wolverines!

* I spend as much time with my family as I can.  I have 3 nieces and 1 nephew and I love them all to pieces. 

* One of my favorite places to visit is Boyne City, MI.  I grew up camping at Young State Park every summer and continue to get up there as much as I can.  It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. 

*I am getting married in June 2012.

*I love to color.  Give me a coloring book and crayons and I can stay busy for hours.

*Halloween with my students is one of my favorite days of the school year.

*Staying in shape is very important to me.  I love to walk, run, and workout.  I enjoy doing these things at home by myself more than with a group or at a gym.

*I love summer and fall but despise winter and spring.  However, I will take a cold, rainy day and make it perfect by enjoying movies and relaxing inside all day :)
